Police in the New Zealand city of Christchurch are responding to an active shooter situation at two mosques and potentially a third location. Local media reports multiple casualties, but nothing has yet been confirmed by police.

On Friday afternoon local time, New Zealand police reported they were responding to “reports of shots fired” in the central part of the city and advised citizens to stay indoors.
